Dear Susun,
I am not sure if you might remember me. I am one of the ordained HP's in Z's line. We met some years ago at one of the Goddess 2000 events Z holds in the Redwoods. I wanted to thank you for the wonderful interview you posted to your wall with Roberta Cantow. LOL and wondered if you might have recognized me in the film. I quote Z, I think in the film.... Anyway....Great job and wonderful service you are providing with your radio show.
Love and Blessings from a sister in service with you, Letecia

Hi Susun,
… I have been learning a lot from your web site and video's and have been drinking lots of herbal infusions and I love them. I noticed a big change in the way I feel. I'm a Massage Therapist and the Nettle infusion really gets me through a busy day....Red Clover is also great as well; really levels me out...I Love the taste of the Oatstraw infusions; they are refreshing on ice. I ordered your book "Healing Wise" and can't wait to get it. I had to dig a little to find someone that I felt was delivering the truth on herbal medicine and so glad I found you!!...I'm ready to learn. Hope to see you soon at a workshop.
Enjoy your day and Be Well !!

Dear Susan,
Just a note to say thank you. Your book, the Wise Woman Herbal in the Childbearing Year, has been a blessing and I'm grateful to have had it through my pregnancies.
I'm 47 years old and live in Parker, Colorado. I met you many years ago on a weed walk in Carmel New York. At the time, I was tending to the herb gardens for the owner of the Amber Waves of Grain Health Food Store. It was that experience that introduced me to the magical and healing properties of herbs. From there I went on to administer herbs to my grandmother that was in the late stages of cancer. Her response to the herbs was very good and it validated my belief in the effectiveness of herbal medicine.
Years later I became pregnant with my first child and used some of the advice in your book. However, it turned out that labor needed to be medically induced. When I was expecting my second child I found that I was once again past my due date and decided to self induce at home with castor oil. Much to our surprise, our daughter was born quickly and painlessly but unexpectedly at home! The labor pain was so slight that I didn't even realize I was in labor until the baby was crowning! Thankfully everything went well , but I realized that castor oil could be a very very effective method of inducing labor
.
Thirteen years later, at 47 years of age I discovered that I was pregnant again! I was under the care of a medical doctor once again. All of the testing came back normal but due to my age I was considered somewhat a high risk. I held your book closely to my heart and did what I could to help bring things along toward the end. As it turns out my due date had come and gone and induction was once again a topic up for discussion.
I convinced my doctor to allow me to self induce with castor oil at the hospital. My last child was born within 2 hours of taking the castor oil, before taking the final dose. Your book empowered me with the right to choose. The right to try and deliver in the safest possible way, with a natural induction. Like clockwork, I was able to initiate labor and I was able to dilate to 3-4 cm. At that point the labor started to stall. I tried to jumpstart the process but the contractions had really died down.
At that point I reluctantly moved forward with pitocin. I'm thankful that I was able to initiate labor without Ceravdil or Cytotec thanks to the Castor Oil method. Having your book in my possession was golden. I wished that I was able to deliver as easy as last time but I'm so grateful that I was still able to initiate labor with the castor oil. I'm sure that the pitocin sent the baby for a loop as his cord was in a perfect knot at birth. I didn't allow the Doctor to break my water until the very last minute, (which I believe protected the cord form stretching tightly).
Sean was born was born on February 23rd, he weighed 7pounds, 7 ounces and he's a beautiful healthy baby and a joyful addition to our lives!
It was wonderful to have your knowledge and insight to help throughout my pregnancies. You were like a guardian angel helping us get to where we needed to go. Thank You ! I enclosed a few photos so you can attach a face to a name. Thanks again for sharing your wisdom.
Sincerely,
Karen

So, I have had these weird cramps in my back for a long time, and ever since I read about your nettle infusions, and how they have calcium (calcium is supposed to help with cramps), I've been drinking them every day, and since I started, no more cramps.
Thanks!

Susun,
thank you for teaching me to nourish myself by drinking simple infusions of nettles and oatstraw. I get busy and forget to take care of myself. When I feel myself getting run down these infusions help me to regain my health. Now if I can only remember to just drink them everyday ...

Hello Mother of sister spinster :)
I just wanted to tell you, that I am very thankful I found your book of Wise Woman Herbal a few years ago. I am doing some paper work at the moment, for my herbal subject in school and decided to talk about nettle. And your book just came to me again! I know this plant since I was very small, but the way you presented Her to me is just lovely. I see Her much different now, with different attitude.Yesterday I spoke to her in the forest. Her small, dark green leaves have just looked out from the Earth. They are happy, pure and full of life. They are sending Love and Light to you as well :)
All the way from Slovenia.
Happy spring time ♥
