Thank you for adding me to your friend list. I have learned many things through your books, ezine, and through some of the books you have on your site. I wished I was closer when you advertised for a PA. From the PNW, Fall efnniht blessings and green blessings too....this year(season) was a strange and exciting season as is it's change. Change, seems to be the definitive word, but I don't think that is quite it. I don't think I really need to put it into words too much either. I just wanted to acknowledge it. It might be specifically for me, but I feel it also includes more than me. Reflections in the changing times is my forte. And with that, constant change, I am a verbal processor, hence the long note. I appreciate all of your work and care that you give us. I also am glad to know your perspective. From one of your planetary~planterary neighbors of the West Coast.
My herb of study is chickweed.
Namesta,
Allison OWL

Susan, thanks so much for adding me to your friend's list as well. You are an inspiration, and I'd like to thank you for sharing your great knowledge with the world! My family and I reside on our backwoods farm (Ozark Mountains) where we garden organically, raise dairygoats for their most delicious / healthful raw milk, and make use of many wild edibles / medicinals in the surrounding forest. Currently I am enjoying your Menopausal Years book... thank you once again! : )
Sincerely,
Maia & family |

Greetings,
My name is Rebecca. I'm the Events & Field Trips Coordinator for the PA local alternative religion non-profit organization. I'm trying to network out more because I've been working on some greater networking and education initiatives. On a more personal note, I'm in school to become a naturpathic family physician, natural midwife, and clergy to practice natural funerary rites.
I have long learned from, and admired your work, and hope that we might be able to talk someday. I hope you do not mind my adding you to my friend list.
Thank you. =)
P.S. Your granddaughter is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE (from your YouTube videos).

Hi Susun S Weed,
I originally heard of you in New Zealand by reading a friend's book. I lived for a year in Neversink in the Catskills not too far from you- what a beautiful place- living in a place with such vigorous differences in seasons taught me so much- and I wanted to say thanks so much for your books.

Susan,
I sat with you in workshops some years ago while you were menopausing... Then we had a phone interview on menopause for a paper I was writing in college. I used that paper a number of times in different classes with extended into to a art presentation!
Love seeing these videos of you teaching with your grandchild. Such a tender grandma.
Thank you for all that you continue to give.

I remember a "Weed Walk" at your home/center 25 years ago and the discussion group circling on a large flat rock. Then came the herd of large and small lovely goats..... clip clapping right through then pausing in the circle taking in the energy of the circle/gathering before moving through! One of many wonderful memories in the Catskills .....<3

Dear Ms. Weed,
I can't thank you enough for all of the information you have made available. My Mom and I spent the entire day gathering and buying herbs to make infusions. I am in the 5th month of pregnancy ( a baby I was told I couldn't conceive and she was conceived through the help of herbs) and I have devoured your book, The Childbearing Years. Mom is busily reading your other wonderful books.
I am so excited to be learning the path of the Wise Woman and to pass it on to my friends and daughter on the way. She is already benefiting from the knowledge in the womb!
Many blessings to you and yours!
Kate
