I started eating dandelion leaves after reading an article of yours. I brought seeds of lamb's quarter, dandelion and others with me to California because I didn't know what grows here. Thank you for turning me on to that.

Nettle is amazing...though I wish I could learn to like the taste. It's...I just dislike it, even with honey. But I do drink it, if I didn't I wouldn't be able to move. It is absolutly amazing. :)

Marie

Loved & still using your wonderful book :) Happy to 'see' you in person & that you are friends with Nikki Mc. Thanks from me & the numerous women i have shared your book & wise words with as a homebirth midwife for the last 26 years.

I love your website and my goal this year is to take a course from you....Blessed be )O(.

Susan

My hair got thicker and darker after three weeks drinking nettles infusion.

Carmen

You should see the blond highlights in my white hair thanks to Aunt Nettle. And so soft too, never had them so soft , not even in my childhood.

Suzanne

Hello Susun,
that reminds me to go back to nettle infusion which I haven't drank for a while. I love it and I feel it is a really strong potential medicine. Mother nettle is great.

Take care.
Gaby

I love nettles so much I have started an ezine called 'nettlesoup' - a positive, stimulating and tonic mixture of green ingredients inspired by of one of nature's most useful plants, the humble and wholly underrated stinging nettle...

Simon

Nettle leaf is one of my weekly infusions, along with clover and the other one I use regularly is oatstraw. All info came from your books.....I have 3 of them and use them almost daily. You are a wise woman and I don't think I could have gotten through my hot flashes without you. Thanks so much!

Kathleen

Mmm - nettle infusion is so good! My daughter's midwives suggested she drink nettle/alfalfa & raspberry leaf infusions during her last pregnancy, & she had very little blood loss at the home birth (5 years ago today!) - I drank it along with her, & it's still one of my favorite blends!

Nadya

Susun,

your books changed the course of my life and my understanding of the universe and the unnatural ways I learned which needed the injection of the wisewoman traditions.

Some wonderfull woman loving men outhere are encouraging the no bras look. Its a tribal experience! Another good reason is that the free movement and bouncing of the breast stimulates prolatin and reduces pressure around the solar plexus. This alone makes us woman less tense and probably more suculent.

Dear Susun,

I have been receiving your newsletters for some time now. I truly love them. I love who you are, thank you for making yourself available to all of us. I am writing to you as I am touched by your communication with plants, as I am as well. I also communicate with animals, humans, spirits and angels on a psychic level. I am a psychic medium/healer. It was just refreshing to hear someone else communicating in this way; I just had to respond to it. Oh, I also loved your piece on snow, thanks.

Well, much love to you and yours,
Donna

Thanks for the book, I gave a copy to a friend with breast cancer and it helped her get out of the feeling of hopelessness to positive attitude.

Paula

Susun,
all I can say at this time is a shining, heartfelt, "Thank You". So much!

Beth

Awesome advice. I keep going back and forth about vitamins, but bottom line, supplements are taking nature out of it's setting. I need to rely more on my herbal allies :)

Kathleen

Thank you for offering this very helpful information--especially for doing so free of charge! Now on to that jar of red clover infusion...

Miriam

Hello beautiful lady, you have been an awesomely important influeance in my life ...thanks for all your knowledge!

Dear Susan,

In 1998 I was diagnosed with multifocal breast cancer. I found your book and along with my own intuitive guidance i put together a treatment plan for myself. Your book was the greatest resource for helping my soul remember what i had known along and your words gave me the courage to listen to that guidance when my doctor husband and all his doctor friends told me i was crazy :)....of course i am LOL!!!! I have been wanting to tell you how much you changed my life and thank you for your participation in the healing.

Much Love!
Martina

I recently made my first herbal infusions. I put my hand around the infusion and thanked the warm radient plant energy for it's gifts. I had just finished making my nettle infusion and was wondering what to do with the left over herbs and I said out loud: oh i wish I could compost this but I live in an apartment, I go to put the herbs in the trash and a little/loud voice inside my head says: No! you must not do that. The plants where talking to me and I listened. Here's to a life of listening to our plants friends. Thank you Susun, for helping me believe in my own intuition.

Toni

Having just fallen in love with this season - In Praise of Snow-tells me just why. Thank you wise and tender teacher.

I was a raw foodist for many years and your debate on the topic was part of my reason for including cooked foods in my diet again. I loved your interview on One Radio Network, and I just listened to your interview on Herb Mentor podcast....Thank you for the work you do!

Lauren

I'm a fan and an appreciator of our wild allies!

thank you for your wise words and help at Blue White Rainbow in Albany, NY many years ago. Your suggestions to me for accepting and dealing with the process were priceless! I've incorporated much of what you taught me into Menopause Workshops that I facilitate/teach - with CREDIT to you. I start with: Susan Weed told me__________when I first started menopause.

Peg

I thank God for Susan Weed- wisewoman, you are always ahead of the curve. I just re-read below newsletter about the dangers of mammogram. While in my 20's, my physician boyfriend said, "get mammogram every 6 yrs" every year is not good for your breast.
Interestingly enough, the medical establishment is now catching up with the dangers of yearly mammogram.

A faithful reader of wisewoman,

Susun,

I love your books and I'm so looking forward to taking one of your courses in the near future!

Lady, you saved my life. Thank you.

I wrote to you a while ago in a panic about my pregnancy. I just wanted to let you know that things have been going really well. I found a midwife who helped me through the really rough part. She gave me a special diet, vitamins to take, homeopathy, and some different herbal remedies in tea and by bath. I am better now. My baby is very healthy and moving around a lot! I found an holistic birthing center about 2 miles from my house that seems very nice. I've been on the phone with them all weekend setting things up, and it feels good. Also, the center is out of the same hospital where I was born. So I will be where I am strongest for this birth. Thanks again for helping me. You really made a difference in my baby's life.

love and peace, Sandy

Hi Susun

I just wanted to say that I really appreciate the knowledge you have and the information you impart to people, women especially, about the benefits of natural healing as being the best (and really, only way) to heal the body.... it aligns with my way of thinking / being too...

Enjoy your articles and posts :) ....
Ciao, Zaklina :)

Beautiful wise woman. Thank you for your knowledge and whisperings through my pregnancy and postpartum period. Herbs for the childbearing year was the ONLY book/weed bible I owned. Love, light and blessings,

Scheduled a phone call with you today Susun. I have high hopes, though no expectation. I'm hoping to learn a bit about how to begin to heal a perplexing and invasive disease that I and many others live with and control with life long medication that has serious side effects. Looking so forward to learning from you. Thank you for extending yourself to others in need.

What a wonderful offerng of health to those who believe in the natural and the energies. It is one healing to research and identiify on ones own, however to have an experienced and well read guide, doctor, therapist, who is famliar with years of practice and understanding, is beond the healing of self into a more unversal understanding... God
Bless you and may the
Goddess Earth be with you!
Shanon

Susun,

I'm sending a heartfelt thank you for all that you are and the impression you made on me when I was a young woman, new wife, then mother of young children, now in my 40s, divorced (but newly in Love) with children from toddler to teens. I often fall back on the view you opened to me, your perspective on healing, Life, the phases of Womanhood. So, though you don't know me personally, thank you just the same. What I have gleaned from your writing certainly ripples out into my world and those around me.

~Beth
