Moonlodges are held on Friday evenings before workshop weekends. To graduate, you must attend one moonlodge. (You may stay with us and eat with us that Friday night.)

Wise Woman apprentices arrive Sat morning between 9:45 -10AM and leave Sun by 6PM, except on your moonlodge weekend when you arrive Fri at 5PM and leave Sun by 6PM.**)

Wise Woman Live-Out apprentices receive

Fifteen days of classes with Susun including orientation weekend and graduation
Eight overnight stays, including seven dinners and seven breakfasts
Books, including herbals and a field guide
Materials to make your own medicines
Personal guidance in persuing your herbal path

As a Wise Woman Apprentice, you will learn the ins and outs of herbal medicine, plant identification and medicine making. You will nourish your healing abilities and leadership qualities, and gain valuable skills in working with a variety of people, plants, and problems.

The value of this apprenticeship is $2000. Total cost to you is $1300 paid in full or in monthly payments of $100, with at least $400 paid by April 2, 2011. Limited to 8 apprentices.

I have openings for two Wild Roses: live-out apprentices who help with parking, serving, cooking, and washing up during the weekends. This requires you to arrive by 4PM on Fridays and stay until about 7PM Sunday. (I give you the eight extra nights here as a thank-you for your help.) You pay in full for your apprenticeship and receive a rebate of $650 when you have completed your work-exchange.

All other Wise Woman apprentices arrive Sat morning by 10 am and leave Sun by 6pm, except on your moonlodge weekend when you arrive Fri at 5pm and leave Sun by 6pm.**

*Lodging is a campsite, tipi, or primitive dorm. Occassionally, a room in the apprentices' house. If you wish to stay elsewhere, you may deduct $300 from your fee. If you eat elsewhere, deduct another $100.
