Your Intuitive Dreams ...
Why Be Intuitive?
by sHEALy
(Sherry Healy)

My work and life as an intuitive has given me opportunities that others have not experienced. I have had the pleasure of meeting and knowing people; their inner thoughts, expectations and needs. I have learned to like most people and to look for the good inside of all of them. All of us have secrets. And, thanks to my personal connections with so many individuals, I have learned to look past the secrets and find the real person. The most wonderful discovery I have made while intuitively working with individuals, is the fact that we are so similar in our needs and wants. Most of us simply want to be happy and to have a companion to share our experiences. We all strive to be better than we presently are and we all strive to find interest in life. And all of us think that we are important. And, we are correct. Each one of us is an extraordinary spirit, filled with thoughts and intentions.

Letting in the Light painting by Suzanne GardnerTwice a month, I visit a small town in Maryland called Annapolis. Annapolis is a lovely town, with a view of water, trees and community. I begin my day at 10:00 where I meet my first client of the day. We spend approximately half and hour speaking with each other in a small private room. There, I share my intuitive thoughts and hopefully find that my client is open for suggestions as to how to make his or her life productive and happy. As the reading comes to an end, I usually ask my client if he or she has any questions that would help make the day a happy one. And then, I prepare for the next client to enter and speak with me. I continue with my work, allowing my energy to touch others and allowing my visions and knowledge to guide me through each reading. During this day, I will speak of relationships, health, loved ones who have passed as well as anything that might be on the mind of a client. And, with each client, I hope to help develop a better life, filled with love, prosperity, good health and a sound spirituality. Most clients ask similar questions. “Tell me about my relationship”, or “When will I get a new job?” are the type of questions I am usually asked. As I share this information with my client, I am aware that these are our main focuses in life; and often these are the events that will help each of us to find the spiritual belief system or health and happiness that we so desire.

As I end my day at 6:00 pm, I am always exhausted but feeling serene and intuitively strong. Each day I practice my work; I grow in wisdom and learn new things. I am amazed at the vastness of the Universe. And, it is my intuition that has taught me and shared with me such wonders. I have seen love transcend, come back from after life just to say “I am here,” as when one client’s husband come through during a reading. I have felt damaged and demoralized self esteems grow and become filled with hope and confidence, as individuals listen and hear that their problems have served a purpose and lesson. And, I have heard spirits share loving and informative information from another realm. And all I have seen has been good, safe and loving.

Most gratifying of my job, are the e-mails and messages sent to me after a reading. I am rewarded with messages expressing new health, new attitude and new ways of living. And, although I am the channel of the messages that have created such joys and healings of spirit, I am simply happy to know that there is a Universal magic and higher power that so smoothly works through the intuitive.

Asking why be intuitive is like asking why be happy, or why be healed or why have eyes that see the heavens. Intuition is a lovely gift. All of us have it to some extent. I am lucky. I have the opportunity to work professionally and with the public using this gift. During my week, when I am not working from Annapolis, Maryland, I receive several e-mails scheduling telephone readings. And each reading is a unique occurrence and learning experience. I always learn something even though I am the attendant to the client. As an intuitive, it is my job to be the helper, the server, the assistant guiding the other to see beyond the haze of life. And with each peek I and my client takes, we see more of the infinite and brilliant Universe.

If you are interested in developing your intuition, I suggest you purchase a copy of Living Your Intuitive Dreams. As you practice the exercises in the book, you will begin to look at the world, yourself and your environment from a more natural perspective. You will begin to realize that intuition is a natural form of knowing oneself and a helpful means of creating a delicious existence.

Also, you can….

1. You can begin to listen to your physical body. Your body constantly communicates with you. It tells you when you are hot or cold. It tells you when you are hungry or tired. And, it will tell you when to be aware, calm or alert.

2. You can develop intuition when you listen to your dreams. Dreams are amazing teachers. They are filled with unconscious information. Because the unconscious is often the first doorway into the perceptive mind, learning to access the unconscious will help you to be more intuitive.

3. You can practice meditation or other forms of trance enhancing modalities. When the mind rests, as in a trance, it more easily hears intuited information.

4. You can have an intuitive reading. During an intuitive reading your own intuition is enhanced. Many of my clients have become so intuitive, they contact me only to chat and say “hi”.
