Dear Sherry,
Lately I am thinking a lot about my ex-husband. I’ve
been very sad about our break up and feeling really lonely.
I’ve asked my family and friends to pray for me. I
just don’t know how to get through this time. I wonder
how long I will feel this way and how I can get over my
despair.
Please
help,
Marine
Dear Marine,
I am happy that you have asked others to pray for you. This
proves to me that you have the desire to improve and to
thrive. Those who choose to heal any situation are more
likely to experience healing than those who either give
up or choose not to heal that situation. Because your question
is focused on “I wonder how long….” And
“how can I get over….”
I can see that you are a fighter and you will improve quickly.
Your desire to know a time period that will bring peace
is a sure sign of your ability to focus into the future
when your heart will once again feel joyous and filled with
love.
Knowing that you will someday feel joy again is the best
medicine for your aching heart. The ability to believe that
you will laugh again, love again and feel loved is essential
for your recovery. Know that your loneliness is a prayer
into the Universe telling beautiful Source energy that you
want more. I can promise you that the Universe has heard
your prayers and will respond. Now, you have to work with
the Universe and begin to focus your mind away from your
ex-husband and into the beautiful possibilities that are
on your path. You are the creator of your own path and possibilities.
Begin right now, imagine, visualize and believe in exactly
what you want. Shortly, your heart will be healed.
I believe in you,

Dear Sherry,
I am working to improve my spiritual life. I have attended
many classes and read many spiritual books. I have a vast
understanding of several religions but do not feel a connection
with any of them. I want to live a spiritual life. If I
can find my path I dream of being a teacher or healer. Do
you have any suggestions as to a direction I might turn?
Thankfully,
Jim
Dear Thankfully Jim,
Life is a spiritual journey. While you are busy looking
for your particular path, you are living your particular
path. The journey of seeking is an important one. Pay attention
to the truth you know. You have told me that you do not
feel a connection with any religion. It is certainly true
then that you are not to be working within any particular
religion at this time.
While this might change some day, you are certainly to
find you spiritual path by pursuing now the desires that
are within your soul. It sounds as if healing and teaching
is the next step for you to take. It sounds as if you are
not to teach of traditional spiritualities.
I suggest you pay attention to what is on your path each
day. When you wake up and walk outside into the amazing
world, look around and see what excites you. Do you love
the nature that surrounds you? Do you enjoy the cool breeze
of fall? Do you imagine and dream deeply? Are you happiest
when moving your body and taking long walks? All of these
things, if they excite you are your life-teachers. Listen
to them and allow them to guide you. Then you will know
exactly who you are and what you are to be doing on this
great planet we call earth.
Your direction is unfolding,
Sherry Healy (sHEALy)
Dear Sherry,
I am planning to go to academy in France in the Spring.
I am 21 years old and my family believe I am too young to
make this choice. I so want to continue my plans and leave
with the support of my family. How might I convince them
to be supportive? I know this (going to school in France)
is a good thing. I have planned and wanted this since I
was a little girl. Do you think they will eventually see
things my way?
I
am worried,
Beth
Dear Worried Beth,
You are learning a huge life lesson at the same time as
you are creating one of your most sought after dreams. Life
sometimes gives us more than one miracle or lesson at a
time. As you are planning to leave, you are experiencing
the guilt of leaving a loving family.
And, to make things even more difficult, this loving family
is not actually behaving in a loving manner right now. Unless
there is real and actual danger in your plans, your family
is trying to convince you to do what is best for them-not
you. They don’t want to let go of you and probably
them fear for your safety.
I suggest you look at this situation as an opportunity.
Express to your family that you are following a path that
is true to your dreams. Following your dream path will help
you grow into the strong woman you are growing toward.
I want to commend you for daring to listen to your intuitive
voice. Your intuitive voice is the voice that tells you
how important and necessary this journey is for you. Because
you are so wise and able to know your real self at age 21,
I believe you will do great things. You will make a difference
in this world. Surely your family will not want to stand
in your way.
So my dear, you must continue your path and dare to follow
that intuitive voice. It is not always easy to do so when
those within our environment are trying to step in our way.
Because this is the right path for you, I must believe that
all things will eventually be good. Your family will eventually
understand, especially when you have shown them how wise
and wonderful you can be on your own.
They will eventually understand,
Sherry Healy (sHEALy)
