This letter is to help you create a multiple day event with Susun S. Weed and
to confirm the details of our agreement. Please help us make this a smooth and
enjoyable trip for all.

and other publicity materials
to help you create an event with Susun S. Weed. Please fax (845-246-8081) and
email (susunweed@herbshealing.com) all publicity to us, including flyers and ads before
they are distributed. Please use special care to see to it that Susun's name
is spelled correctly on publicity. Please keep the "sun" in Susun.

Participation in the conference for herself and a helper
Transportation expenses (including airfare, transportation to and from the airport
on both ends, and, if driving, actual tolls plus 50 cents a mile roundtrip)
Directions (and a map if needed) at least two weeks before the event.
Fifty percent (50%) of the gross income from her Friday night talk
$750 (US) per day for each full-day workshop, plus fifty percent of any net
profit. (That's gross minus expenses. Contact us if you believe your expenses
will exceed fifteen percent of the gross.)
* Before the event
We can help you get publicity. Use our press releases, photos, and short articles
by Susun that you can submit along with info on your event. All at www.susunweed.com.
*About the event
Please schedule all talks and workshops to begin at 10am or later.
Please ask participants to write out questions. If time allows, Susun will answer
them.
* After the event, please have these things ready to give to Susun:
Names and addresses of all workshop participants (OK to email)
Complete account of all income; payment in US funds only please
Originals or copies of flyers, ads, other promotional materials, and articles
Photos to return (ok to mail them back)
*These hints will help you take care of Susun:
No pepper of any kind in Susun's food (no black pepper, cayenne, or bell peppers).
Susun prefers to drink a nourishing herbal infusion or water with fresh lemon.
Susun's sleeping space needs to be dark and quiet. A firm bed is preferable.
For breakfast: whole grain bread, organic butter, plain yogurt, fresh fruit
in season.
Be certain Susun sees all publicity before her workshop.

In addition to being the author of four highly-acclaimed books on herbs and women's health, Susun lectures world-wide as the voice of the Wise Woman tradition, personally supervises 500 correspondence students, is the editor-in-chief of Ash Tree Publishing, and directs the activities of the Wise Woman Center, where she trains apprentices in the shamanic arts, and plays with the fairies.
